How affirmations work?

 Affirmations work because they have the ability to programme your mind into believing whatever you are affirming and this happens for the reason that the mind doesn’t know what is real and what isn’t. For instance if say you are happy over and over again you will find that you will start to feel happy feelings flowing through you and even smiling and if you state that you are sad, that’s exactly what you are going to feel, very sad. To write your own affirmations;

 Make a list of the things that you always think negatively about, it might be you feel judged by others and you feel unworthy, you are critical of yourself, ashamed of your choices in life, your habits, the way you look, it can be anything negative. - Now write out affirmations but rather than saying “I am an unworthy person” say “ I am worthy and deserve all the good things in life” then repeat your affirmations to yourself or you can ask someone to do it for you. Affirming at least five or more times a day will help reinforce the new beliefs. - Affirmations work better when you are in a relaxed state of mind, when the subconscious mind is more open to the suggestions you are giving it.
