How to use affirmations?

  Affirmations should be used in the present tense or in the now.  They have to be repeated three to five times or more a day, every day, until you achieve your goal. You can say them out loud or mentally whatever suits you whenever you can. Remember to be persistent and patient.  Have passion and feeling when you are affirming and try not to think of negative things, maintaining the positivity is crucial.  You can record your affirmations and listen to them when you’re relaxed in a quiet and comfortable room.

How affirmations work?

 Affirmations work because they have the ability to programme your mind into believing whatever you are affirming and this happens for the reason that the mind doesn’t know what is real and what isn’t. For instance if say you are happy over and over again you will find that you will start to feel happy feelings flowing through you and even smiling and if you state that you are sad, that’s exactly what you are going to feel, very sad. To write your own affirmations;  Make a list of the things that you always think negatively about, it might be you feel judged by others and you feel unworthy, you are critical of yourself, ashamed of your choices in life, your habits, the way you look, it can be anything negative. - Now write out affirmations but rather than saying “I am an unworthy person” say “ I am worthy and deserve all the good things in life” then repeat your affirmations to yourself or you can ask someone to do it for you. What Are Affirmations?

 Affirmation is the act of affirming or confirming that something is true. Positive affirmations can help develop a powerful positive attitude to life in most areas of our lives for instance work, finances, family, relationships and health. Affirmations work because your subconscious mind accepts whatever you say to it. Affirming positively is a very powerful way to make those changes and achieve your dreams. The power of our thoughts is limitless and incredible, as our thoughts affect how we feel and act, if you feel positive you act in a positive way and on the other side if you feel negative your actions and behaviour will reflect that. When you have a belief in yourself that you are a success your mind is going to work towards nothing but success, because you are feeling it and if you think about being a failure you are going to feel it and your thoughts and mind will manifest failure. The thoughts that pass through our minds are responsible for everything that happens in our lives
